Hydroshield™ uses a Dual-TPU construction designed to deliver enhanced flexibility, impact resistance and surface performance. PPF isn’t stretched over the car as one sheet — it’s fitted panel by panel, so the film sits flush against every contour without dulling the paint underneath.

  1. 01 Consultation A walk-through of the vehicle and the owner's priorities before anything is decided.
  2. 02 Panel preparation Selected surfaces are cleaned and prepped so the film has a clean, contaminant-free base.
  3. 03 Film application Each panel is fitted and finished by hand, following its own contours rather than a flat sheet.
  4. 04 Final check Edges and finish are inspected before the vehicle is handed back.

Before you decide.

Will PPF change how my car looks?

No. Quality paint protection film is designed to be virtually invisible once installed — your paint colour, shine and finish stay the same. The film is there to absorb impact, not to be seen.

Can PPF be removed later?

Yes. Properly installed PPF can generally be removed by a trained installer without damaging the paintwork underneath it. It isn't meant to be a permanent, irreversible layer.

Does it need special care after installation?

Day-to-day care stays close to normal — regular washing is fine. An installer can walk you through any specific do's and don'ts for the first few days after application.

How is coverage decided?

It usually comes down to how the vehicle is driven and which panels face the most everyday exposure — discussed and agreed before any film is applied. See "Choose the coverage that fits your vehicle" above.

Is PPF the same as a colour wrap or window tint?

No — they solve different things. PPF protects the existing paint and is typically clear; a colour wrap changes the vehicle's appearance; window tint applies to the glass, not the paintwork. Hydro Shield offers all three as separate services.
